The Setter is a professional surgical light, conceived, designed and manufactured entirely for vet needs.
The Setter’s smooth, easy-to-move arm and extended large operating area minimise the need for light repositioning. Ideal for vets working alone, in small teams, or on larger animals. Furthermore, the Setter’s “always on focus” technology means it’s possible to maintain focus at any distance. This allows the veterinary surgeon to freely move the light within the working range distance whilst automatically maintaining accurate focusing.

Adapted for Zoological Use
Setter is the first surgical lamp developed specifically for veterinary use. Usually, traditional surgical lamps are adapted for zoological use, but in this case, Setter is the result of analysis and feedback from the veterinary sector.
Aware of the significant differences from the human sector regarding both design and use, the Rimsa R&D department has developed this innovative light. The Setter model is the only light studied, designed and produced for the veterinary needs.

Setter’s smooth, easy-to-move arm and extended large operating area minimise the need for light repositioning, allowing the vet to focus on the operation.
The larger light diameter gives the surgeon a wider light field, allowing vets to work alone, in small teams, or on larger animals. This diameter is adjusted by a capacitive sensor placed on the sterilizable handle, in order to guarantee the surgeon full control of the light.
Always on Focus
The Setter’s “always on focus” technology means it’s possible to have a focused light at any distance. This allows the veterinary surgeon to freely move the light within the working range distance whilst automatically maintaining accurate focusing.
