2010: ULED Released. Prince Philip Australian Design Award-winning U-arm, designed by Dave Kavanagh
2012: Aquaculture
Planet Lighting’s first aquaculture light is released.
Today, Planet’s aquaculture lights are in use by top producers globally.
2015: Planet LED Puck is the most widely employed integrated LED module in the world.
2010s
2020: Word’s lightest and smallest professional catenary system is released: LED Puck Air.
2022: Senior lighting and industrial designer, and long serving staff member Dave Kavanagh wins Lifetime Achievement Award – "Professional LIT Design Awards 2022"
2024: Planet LED Puck SNAP illuminating the heart of the Paris 2024 Olympic Village. It’s a monumental moment for our Bellingen-based company and a true testament to Australian innovation and craftsmanship.
2024: MegaPuck Released. The Planet MegaPuck combines powerful performance, precise control, and design flexibility with our signature LED Puck Snap-in installation simplicity.
