Bogong High Plains Road Falls Creek Victoria Australia
Illumination of one of the main staircases at the popular alpine resort, Falls Creek. As no mains power was reticulated to the stair, Planet was asked to design a solar powered system using our LED puck.
A solar powered LED public lighting system offers unrivalled economic and environmental benefits - 100% clean energy with high quality directional LEDs with lifetimes exceeding 50,000H ensures a low-maintenance lighting system at minimal operating costs.
Sustainable alpine tourism leader, Falls Creek resort was first in Australia to install a solar powered LED handrail lighting system to provide illumination to a new elevated walkway from the arrivals terminal to Slalom Ski. The Planet Lighting designed, manufactured and installed zero negative environmental impact stand alone Solar PV LED handrail lighting system (HLS) exceed public lighting code of 7 lux.

- colour temperature 5000K
- in-tube 0-10V dimmable drivers
- operates to full capacity with 3-5 days of no sun
- twilight dawn protection
